I have always been fascinated
by fragments of once beautiful and precious nostalgia objects. As a child I had several wooden boxes filled with objects that no one else wanted. My boxes of yesteryear inspired me to create the "Babes in wood" series. Beautiful porcelain doll heads, broaches, costume jewelry, glass objects, jacks, pens, marbles and buttons are just a few of the objects that "Babes in wood" uses in making a box become part of an art piece.
